D.O.G. charms credit union members

Lily, Sunova Credit Union’s (34,300 members, $1.4 billion in assets) newest, four-legged Director of Greetings (D.O.G), took up her posting last month. The Saint Bernard puppy has been in training since the beginning of the year to take on such key responsibilities as greeting members, playing with youngsters and dispensing big slobbery kisses during surprise visits to Sunova’s Manitoba branches. Lily joins her big brother Gallagher in D.O.G. duties at the credit union. As a Sunova spokesperson says, “it’s a ‘ruff’ job — but someone’s got to do it.” ◊
