Studies to be shared at October summit

This year’s International Summit of Cooperatives, which takes place October 6 to 9 in Quebec City, will spotlight five major themes, including food security and health care accessibility.

Cooperative businesses will be called on to share their roles in tackling these issues.

The summit aims to further such cooperation by inviting internationally recognized experts to unveil the results from more than 25 groundbreaking studies, primarily on the five summit themes. The research will be an invaluable and exclusive source of information available to participants and essential to the summit program.

The summit is a biennial gathering where leaders of cooperative enterprises and mutual associations gather to discuss concerns about the current and future business challenges they all share. ◊
